Terry McKenney Person

Terry McKenney Person graduated from Michigan State University (B.A. magna cum laude 1980) and Washington and Lee University School of Law, Lexington, Virginia (J.D.1983); Burk’s Scholar; Phi Alpha Delta. She was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1983, the same year she became associated with McGinty, Hitch, Housefield, Person, Yeadon & Anderson, P.C.  She currently specializes in Estate Planning, Probate and Workers’ Compensation defense.

Ms. Person’s legal experience includes: Adjunct Professor of Legal Writing, Thomas M. Cooley Law School 1985 to 1990; Lecturer on Estate Planning and Probate; State Bar of Michigan Character and Fitness Committee (1987 to 1999).

Ms. Person is a member of the Ingham County Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan (Member, Elder Law & Disability Rights Section, Workers’ Compensation Section, Probate & Estate Planning Section and Master Lawyers Section) and is involved with various community boards of directors including The Hospice of Lansing, Inc, MSU Arts & Letters, and the MSU Alumni Band.
